The soil in rotten leaves
Spectral lights drown in the dark
The clouds drop tears

Raising walls around
For none of them shall hear
This dying chant inside
The deep despair I bear

And it undfolds
A crimson elegy once more
Fragile and beautiful
Spectres of yore
But there is noone there to hear
But an old man and a silent tear

Behold the autumn wind
That soughs beneath the trees
It whispers solitude
Bewails what can't be seen

Scratching my head in grief
Bereft of hopes and dreams
Those rotten leaves around my walls
They cease beyond the veil

Alone within my stronghold
Held in solitude's embrace

Far beyond this shattered realm
